GRBass AT210V+ VS Mark Bass 102P - Italian Bass Cab Battle

I was finally in a position to compare these two fine Italian bass cabinets with similar specifications.
These are the categories which I compared:
1. Sound (my personal opinion)
2. Weight
3. Price
4. Power
5. Appearance (my personal opinion)

1. Sound
What I found very interesting is that when we ignore - turn off the horn (piezo/tweeter), the sound of the 10" speaker is very similar, almost the same. This is interesting because of the material from which these two cabinets are made - wooden product or carbon material. If we compare the horn (piezo/tweeter), I much prefer the GR bass. It has more middle frequencies that are much more usable and, in my opinion, sound better than one in MarkBass. MarkBass horn (piezo/tweeter) is too high pitched and produces more ''hiss'' sound than usable frequencies for a bass guitar.

Sound verdict - GRBass 1:0 MarkBass

2. Weight
GRBass weight 8,8kr (19,4 lbs), and MarkBass has 14.5kg (32 lbs). Being made from carbon, the lightness of the GRBass is amazing, and even though the 14.5 kg of Marbass doesn't sound like much, the difference is amazing (both cabs 4Ohm).

Weight verdict - GRBass 1:0 MarkBass

3. Price
GRBass AT210V+ costs €1260, and MarkBass 102P costs €500.

Price verdict - GRBass 0:1 MarkBass

4. Power
GRBass AT210V+ (4Ohm) - Power rating 600Watt, MarkBass 102P - Power rating 400Watt. This 200W difference in volume is evident when listening in an isolated studio room.

Power verdict - GRBass 1:0 MarkBass

5. Appearance
Regarding appearance, it has always been subjective for each user. As for my opinion, I never liked the yellow color of MarkBass speakers. On the other hand, the shape of the GRBass cabinet with its carbon texture and two-dimensional corners cannot boast of a beautiful appearance. Let's face it, neither of them have the charm and coolness of Aguilar or Barefaced cabinets.

Appearance verdict - GRBass 0:0 MarkBass

Overall verdict - GRBass 3:1 MarkBass
Afterword:
Perhaps it would be a fairer test to compare the AT210V box (without +) with the 102P MarkBass. Then the power rating would be 1:1 (400Watt both), but in weight category it would be even bigger difference in advantage to GRBass.
Next test will be with the new MarkBass 102 Energy Box cabinet. Difference in weight will then be smaller, but also difference in price.
As for this test, I would always choose the lightest cabinet, and in this case, lighter has a nicer sound to, so GRBass would be my choice despite the much higher price.
