These examples will help you feel more confident as you face or study the discrepancy in ABO typing. ABO discrepancy is as when the forward and reverse type do not match. This means the RBC antigens give one type and the serum give another type. It is important to solve this inconsistency prior type specific transfusion. I hope you enjoy and find this video helpful.
