I Found THIS on GOOGLE MAPS - Lehigh Canal Trail Adventure

I'm back again to locate and document something that I found on Google Maps. This adventure brings us to Jim Thorpe Pennsylvania, which is a beautiful small town that is rich in history. While searching Google Maps, I found what appears to be man made structures alongside the trail. What are they? Are they still there today? Come along with me as we try to answer those questions.
