The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Dundee today to officially open Scotland’s first design museum in Kate's role as patron of the V&A. The couple are known as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn when in Scotland. Today’s trip will build on Kate's keen interest in the visual arts, and highlighting the value that public institutions like V&A Dundee can offer local communities, Kensington Palace said. Kate turned to an old Alexander McQueen number - recycling a green and blue tartan coat in a nod to her Scottish hosts. The structured coat is at least six years old, with the duchess having worn it in 2012 and 2013.
