Dubai & Abu Dhabi: The Skyline, The Desert, The Family Experience

This video captures our full journey through Dubai and Abu Dhabi, showing the city the way it actually feels when you live in it for a while. We begin in Dubai Marina, staying in an apartment overlooking the entire Marina Loop. From there, we explore the waterfront promenades, the yachts, the buzzing restaurants and the endless skyline views.

Later we move to the Dubai City Centre, where our apartment balcony looks directly onto the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Fountain Show and the Dubai Mall. Every evening becomes its own performance, right outside our window.

Throughout the trip we visit some of Dubai’s most iconic highlights: the Marina Promenade, the Museum of the Future, Global Village, Hatta Heritage Village, stunning desert dunes, and a cruise through the city. We ride quads, hop on camels, and move around the city effortlessly by electric scooters and bikes. Along the way we enjoy great food, remarkable architecture, and streets filled with supercars.

What surprises most people is how easy, safe and genuinely family-friendly Dubai is. There are shaded playgrounds under bridges, helpful people everywhere, and a city layout that makes getting around simple and comfortable.

We also visit The Palm, enjoy panoramic views from multiple locations, and wrap up our United Arab Emirates chapter with a stop in Abu Dhabi to see the Grand Mosque in person.

From here we continue our travels to Sri Lanka.
