Making Arwen Evenstar's Coronation Gown

I thought it would be fun to record the creation of the beautiful gown, which Arwen wore in Return of the King, from start to finish.
To save on time, I had to speed up the process...quite a bit. So it might look as though I'm having seizures. lol
Simplicity 4940, View C, for the base pattern. (The white fabric I'm tracing around is actually a mock up I made using muslin before-hand.) I altered the pattern slightly. Instead of making bow closures on the shoulders, I sewed a zipper in the back.
The 9 yards of beautiful lime green fabric (after much indecisiveness) was bought from Fabric World USA. Product #SVT30 Everything else was purchased from JoAnn Fabric.
