Vangoa Acoustic-Electric Banjo Review!

In this video, I review the Vangoa VBJ4-E acoustic/electric 5-string resonator banjo. For full disclosure, Vangoa sent this banjo to me, at no cost, to review on my channel. I should also caution, that I reviewed this instrument through the eyes of a beginner to banjo playing. I do have two other banjos and have seen others in stores, so I do have some basis of comparison. Still, you should take my opinion as a novice players opinion.

This is a nice starter banjo! It is well built, with obvious attention to detail. It has a nice finish, smooth frets, playable action, and the intonation was excellent. It came as advertised! It has everything a beginner needs to get started. It also has the option to be plugged into an amplifier! The only minor issue I found with it is that the tone knob did not seem to have much impact on the sound, compared to the volume knob. I would still definitely recommend this to anyone interested in a beginner banjo.
