The park transforms into a vibrant, family-friendly Carnaval bursting with color, music, and flavors from around the globe. Here’s everything you need to know about a visit!
The nightly parade featured six brand-new floats inspired by the elements—Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, the Sun, and the Moon—alongside Universal’s classic New Orleans-style floats. Expect high-energy music, elaborate costumes, and beads flying everywhere.

🛍️ Tribute Store Theme: Haunted River Cruise
Step aboard the fictional steamboat P.S. Songbird for a haunted river cruise through the Mississippi. The store features four themed rooms, from the luxury of the steamboat’s ballroom to the mysterious bayou and Baron TonTon’s quarters. Expect ghostly apparitions, immersive props, exclusive Mardi Gras merchandise (like the King Gator plush and popcorn bucket), and a snack stand with treats like King Cake and macarons.

🎭 Parade Floats: Elements & Tradition
Universal’s Mardi Gras parade is legendary with returning favorites like King Gator, the Riverboat, and the Krewe floats. Guests can even reserve a spot to ride a float and toss beads to the crowd via the Virtual Line in the Universal Orlando app.

• Live Concerts: On select nights, catch big-name artists at the Music Plaza Stage after the parade.
• Street Performers: Dancers, stilt-walkers, and musicians fill the park with energy all day.

• Tips: Arrive early for parade viewing, especially on concert nights. ADA viewing areas are available in the New York section.
