Laughlin AIr Force Base in Texas is the largest primary pilot training base in the USAF. It is used as a first-step for USAF pilots to get hands-on flying training with the T-6A Texan II aircraft. The T-6A Texan II is a single-engine, two-seat plane designed to train Joint Primary Pilot Training students (JPPT) in basic flying skills common to U.S. Air Force and Navy pilots.
