Error Message! Open then Close Driver Window!

Today we are working on a Buick regal and the client’s concern is that sometimes when she makes a turn or hits the brakes, the engine quits. Sometimes it restarts but sometimes it doesn’t. Her GM Vehicle also gives an error message that says ‘open and close the driver’s window’. Welcome to Mercie J Auto Care, where compassion and craftsmanship come together. I’m Rick Smith, master certified technician. Now the same thing happened on my dad’s Chevrolet Silverado pick up. In his case, the truck sits in the garage quite a bit and the battery gets low and if you get low voltage, that will cause the issue. If your battery is okay, you need to check the connections. If we look closely at this one, this is our negative connection. Everything is okay here. This is our positive connection right here on this you can see in the video that I can wiggle it around. So that’s a bad connection. So loose connections can cause your Buick, GMC or Chevy vehicle to give that error message.
