How To Change Drum Heads (Snares, Toms & Bass Drums)

In this video I'll walk you through the process I use to change drum heads (or drum skins) for any drum on the drum kit, be it a snare drum, tom or bass drum. By the end of the process you should have your new drum head nicely settled in, with the tension spread fairly evenly across the drum ready for you to then start tuning.
1. You will need... - 0:43
2. Remove existing head - 2:38
3. Clean bearing edge - 5:24
4. Seat new head - 6:24
5. Get the tension rods “finger tight” - 8:32
6. Put tension into the drum head - 9:37
7. Settle in new head - 12:40
