Praeceptis salutaribus moniti, et divina institutione formati, audemus dicere: Pater Noster, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum; adveniat regnum tuum, fiat voluntas tua sicut in caelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris, et ne nos inducas in tentationem; sed libera nos a malo. Quia tuum est regnum, et potentia, et gloria, in saecula saeculorum. Amen.
At the saviour’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say: Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Praise.
