Better late than never to be chiming in on this one right here. But here we are. To be honest, when Onyeka Ehie first hopped online to share her story "The Danish Deception" a multi part confessional of romantic woe, I wanted to be there, front and center to support her. Then she lost me. And she lost me good.
In this video, I explain why I quickly lost interest in this saga, the red flags that would have sent me running very early on, and why I feel she was particularly vulnerable to this man and his scams.
I also discuss the vitriol and feedback she received online particularly from Black women and what storytellers can do to get the response they want from their audience.
