Pangong :
Pangong Tso or Pangong Lake (Tibetan: སྤང་གོང་མཚོ; Chinese: 班公错; pinyin: Bān gōng cuò; Hindi: पैंगोंग झील, romanized: Paiṅgoṅg jhīl) is an endorheic lake spanning eastern Ladakh and West Tibet situated at an elevation of 4,225 m (13,862 ft).
It is 134 km (83 mi) long and divided into five sublakes, called Pangong Tso, Tso Nyak, Rum Tso (twin lakes) and Nyak Tso.
Approximately 50% of the length of the overall lake lies within Tibet administered by China, 40% in Indian-administered Ladakh, and the remaining 10% is disputed and is a de facto buffer zone between India and China.
The lake is 5 km (3.1 mi) wide at its broadest point. All together it covers almost 700 km2.
During winter the lake freezes completely,
It has a land-locked basin separated from the Indus River basin by a small elevated ridge, but is believed to have been part of the latter in prehistoric times.


CHANGLA PASS :
Chang La is a high mountain pass in Ladakh at an elevation of 5,391.3024 m (17,688.000 ft) in the Ladakh Range between Leh and the Shyok River valley.
The Chang La, on Leh to Pangong Lake road, lies on the Leh-Karu-Sakti-Zingral-Chang La-Durbuk-Tangtse-Pangong Lake motorable road.
Karu, which lies on Leh-Manali NH-3, connects Chang La and Pangong Lake to Leh and the rest of India.
In September 2021, BRO opened another alternate motorable asphalt road between Zingral and Tangtse via Ke La pass (5,669.28 m or 18,600.0 ft) and Taruk (also spelled Tharuk).

Chang La is approached from Zingral village by a steeply climbing asphalt road which requires a careful drive.
Doctors advise that staying at the top for more than 20-25 minutes can cause altitude sickness.


NYOMA :
Nyoma is a principal village of southern Ladakh in India, the headquarters of an eponymous subdivision, tehsil, community development block and Indian Air Force Base in the Leh district.
It is located on the bank of the Indus river after its 90-degree bend near Dungti east of Nyoma and before the valley narrows to a gorge near Mahe northwest of Nyoma.
The Nyoma tehsil and subdivision cover all of southern Ladakh, including the Rupshu plains south of Nyoma, the Indus valley of Skakjung north of Nyoma, and the Hanle valley.
Nyoma gompa, a Buddhist monastery, is located on the hill slope north of the village.


HANLE :
Hanle (also spelt Anle) is a large historic village in the Indian union territory of Ladakh.
The revenue village of Hanle comprises six hamlets — Bhok, Dhado, Punguk, Khuldo, Naga and Tibetan Refugee habitation within 1100 sq km Changthang Wildlife Sanctuary in Changthang plateau.
It is the site of the 17th-century Hanle Monastery (gompa) of the Drukpa Kagyu branch of Tibetan Buddhism.
Hanle is located in the Hanle River valley on an old branch of the ancient Ladakh–Tibet trade route. Hanle is the home of Hanle observatory (ISO - Indian Astronomical Observatory), the tenth highest optical telescope in the world in India
