Galastar DX Post Processing Demo

Man, I just realized I haven't mentioned Galastar on my main channel in eons. About 7 1/2 years ago I realized a mobile game called Galastar, which was a reboot of some Game Maker games I made a several years prior (the trailers of which you can see further down in my uploads). This game is a remake of the mobile game. I'm trying to go for a sort of "neo-retro" aesthetic, with the game having pixel art spaceships, but with modern effects, hence the post-processing here like bloom and color grading. Generally, I really like the feel, but there's a couple issues I'm seeing, particularly with the explosions, as I think the small ones are too bright (big ones actually don't yet have any effects applied to them). I'm also worried some of the projectiles may glow so much that you can't tell where their boundaries are, but I may be overthinking that. Either way, the game will have the option of disabling the post-processing. Galastar DX is very much in its infancy, and I'm currently focused on achieving a proper game-feel and presentation before I pursue things further.
