A fantastic days fishing on the Rio Gallegos, Argentina. Some long awaited rain in the upper reaches, mixed with gale force wind which stirred up the silt created spate like conditions. The resident fish perked up up and our Argentinian friend Gustavo found a pod of running fish in a shallow run. Fish measured 85cm by 54cm. My trusty RJC 13' #8 fly rod did the business again.
