It's Weed Wednesday! Every Wednesday for the next few weeks I'll be posting a video about some gnarly weed!

First up is Japanese Knotweed! Scientific name: Polygonum cuspidatum. Other common names are Asian Knotweed and Bamboo, although this isn't technically a bamboo it is considered bamboo-like.

It took 2 years and 6 digs to finally win this war!
We managed to remove all of the knotweed in this yard without chemicals or heavy machinery. It just took a lot of elbow grease and we had to be as tenacious as the weed was! I am not trying to scare you with this, I just want you to be prepared for what you're getting into.
