When Moshe first stood before the burning bush, he protested: “I am not a man of words… I am heavy of mouth and heavy of tongue.” Yet 'the Shechina (Divine Presence) spoke through his throat.' But in the book of Deuteronomy, we meet a different Moshe—one who speaks an entire book of Torah in his own voice. What happened to his speech impediment? How did this amazing transformation happen?
The Torah portion of Devarim (Deuteronomy 1:1 - 3 : 22) is read on Shabbat Chazon, the 'Sabbath of Vision,' 8 Menachem Av 5785 - August 2, 2025.
Original music composed and performed by David Schommer and Dave Eggar
Lovingly Recorded in Ora Studios, Jerusalem Israel
