(This is different from the Cotai Strip, which is a newer casino and hotel district built on reclaimed land in Cotai.) Downtown Macau is where the city's vibrant nightlife and luxury casinos really come to life. The area is home to iconic resorts like Grand Lisboa, Wynn Macau, and The Venetian Macao, each offering a mix of gambling, luxury shopping, and world-class dining. Whether you’re here to try your luck, shop at high-end outlets, or enjoy the entertainment, Macau's Casino Strip has something for everyone. The fusion of modern architecture and historic buildings gives the area a unique vibe—glamorous yet rich in culture. This walk begins near the majestic Grand Lisboa, takes us along Av do Infante Dom Henrique—a bustling street full of historic buildings and local shops—and ends at Largo de Senado (also known as Senado Square), a charming town square near both the Casino Strip and the Ruins of St. Paul’s.
