Nobuyuki Tsujii - House of Wind 辻井伸行オリジナル「風の家」 with YAMAHA YUS5

Do you know a Japanese blind pianist, Nobuyuki Tsujii, and have you heard his piano performance? Fortunately, I went to his piano concert in San Diego last month! He was the gold medalist in the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition 2009. I cannot imagine how hard he has put his effort into playing the piano in addition to his natural gift of music.

That night, he played Beethoven's sonata Waltstein, two of Liszt's pieces, two nocturnes and Sonata No.3 by Chopin. Additionally, in response to our standing ovation encores, he played four more pieces!!!; Pathetique 2nd movement by Beethoven, a Jazz number, Jenny with the light brown hair by Foster, and La Campanella by Liszt. Many people were crying not only because of his performances but also because of how much he had heart-fully entertained the audience.

That was a speechless and deeply moving experience that became a never-forgettable night.

Sorry for such a long preface!! Today, I played his original piece, House of Wind which is full of the joy of living. Hope you enjoy this piece with my performance and watch till the end.🥰

幸運にも、先日サンディエゴで行われた辻井伸行さんのコンサートに、行くことができました！　渾身の演奏の後、スタンディングオベーションの拍手喝采が鳴り止まず、なんと４曲もアンコールに応えてくれた辻井さん。一生忘れられない夜になりました。今回は彼のオリジナル曲で、生きる喜びに溢れた「風の家」を弾きました。最後までお聞きいただけたら嬉しいです💓
