I woke up one morning in these strange times with the tune Maxine from Donald Fagen’s «The Nightfly» running though my mind. And it occured to me that changing a few words would make it line up as a pandemic-song. So I just had to try and see if it would fit. I asked people to join in, and invited anyone to contribute. One ting led to another, it kind of got out of hand.
Musician colleagues around Norway have contributed to this lockdown fever fantasy of Maxine. Give them some love, they deserve it, these are hard times for musicians.
