-The Boy in the Iceberg-
A mysterious boy discovered in an iceberg becomes a catalyst.

NOTE: We are not affiliated with the Tiktok ATLA Musical! Our musical was written from 2009-2018 but never released widely. With ATLA back in the cultural conversation, this seemed like the perfect time to shine a little light on this old project of ours. Plus, more ATLA musical songs can only be a good thing, right?

KATARA:
I just took a good look in his eyes,
The boy in the iceberg,
That vast, glowing iceberg.
I feel my soul,
It lifts up and it flies.
This is adventure,
What I feel is adventure.

Can I explain the feeling that's arising?
He sleeps inside while I look to the horizon,
Someday soon we'll take up to the skies and
The boy in the iceberg,
The boy in the iceberg will forever change my life.

Perhaps I'll see beyond this endless snow,
I hear them calling,
They say, "This is your calling!"

SOKKA:
He has tattoos that reach where you can't know!

KATARA:
Sokka!

SOKKA:
The boy is no good, sis.
The boy has to go!

KATARA:
Then I'll go with him!

SOKKA:
NO!
You're not going anywhere under my eye.
The bald kid's leaving now before he gives me reason why!

KATARA:
Why what?
Escape the humdrum,
Why not give it a try?
Let the boy in the iceberg--

SOKKA:
I don't like that boy in the iceberg!

BOTH:
The boy in the iceberg forever change our
Life should be the only burden born into,
Except when you're,
When you're the child of a war.
So I..
I need my hope,
It's all I have left to protect the ones I love,
Where are you now?

SUKI:
Are you found? Oh, are these rumors true?
The avatar's back and
There's no looking back now!
Do you know
How much we've needed you?
Get on your feet, girls!
We've got so much to do! NOW!

Can you imagine a future with salvation?
Where the peace can be kept throughout each and ev'ry nation?
Or maybe it's just my dumb imagination,
That the boy in the iceberg,
The boy in the iceberg will bring peace to our lives.

YUE:
Can it be? The truth is as you've said?
He's on his way up here?
On his sky bison's head?

ZHAO:
Can it be? The kid's back from the dead?
I'm to be promoted,
What a hard road ahead of me.

ZHAO (YUE):
There's no way someone of his size is taking me down.
(Down in my heart I knew he'd come for me!)
And if this means I need to chase him all around from town to town,
(Up from the south, he is coming for me!)

BOTH:
I won't give my hopes up,
I'll sure be on the lookout.

YUE:
For when the boy in the iceberg--

ZHAO:
When the boy in the iceberg--

BOTH:
The boy in the iceberg will come into my
Life should be the only burden born into,
Except when you're,
You're part of a new conflict all the time!
I need my hope,
But how long can raw hope keep my spirits alive?
Where are you now?

ZUKO:
UNCLE!
Uncle, can you see it?
Look to the eastern sky,
I can taste it,
Can you taste it?
Me again by his side...
I have been exiled by my father,
And abandoned by my kin.
This scarring light flames my fire,
And I'm dying to know what's within!

ALL:
So my life can begin again,
Lay to rest the remains of this broken...
Life should be the only burden born into,

You're on a mission to restore your life!

KATARA:
I believe you can rid this world of its strife,
My boy in the iceberg...
