K2 was developed by Matt Keegan as an electro acoustic platform that encourages groove based improvised dialogue with guest artists. Inspired by the pioneering work of Eddie Harris and Miles Davis in the 1970’s, for the past 20 years Keegan has been creatively developing systems to manipulate woodwind instruments with electronic FX. Drawing from his extensive back catalogue of recorded work, he composes and performs using samples on the Elektron Octatrack, creating a unique soundscape that invites the listener to join the artists on an immersive, interactive sonic journey.
