issues with cutting supports from 3d printed dismounted cavalry horses.. the legs can break when trying to remove manually placed supports; a hot exacto blade could melt the supports, but sometimes this creates artifacts of plastic hanging onto the model and may be more trouble than its worth. Still, cutting with a normal xacto blade by the shear thickness of the blade ITSELF can wedge the legs of the model to break. Models printed with FDM printer. The solution here, is that in some cases printing with RESIN is the only answer because the way in which resin printers work and support the models yields optimal results; however even using water based resin the process is still.. a process so that is why FDM/filament printers are still more user friendly.
