Turning a big Pink Torus/Doughnut - Mappa Burl & Resin

Welcome back to my channel.

This is a project that was completed a few years before I started this channel. I was recently freeing up space on my phone and came across the footage. I had totally forgotten I'd filmed it.

The inspiration for the project came from -

‪@HeathKnuckles_Tasty_Timber‬

In the video I am using Mappa Burr / Burl which is incredibly hard and figured. That is coated in a white resin then topped with bright pink Clearcoat 50 epoxy resin.
Once cured, I turned it on my Record Power Coronet Herald Lathe.

The result - A Mappa Burl and Resin Doughnut / Tourus
