5 Minutes Relaxing Liquid Hourglass Timer Countdown

With this timer I went back to my old video style. A liquid hourglass bought online is indicating the countdown for relaxing mood. To flow down the liquid takes about 50 seconds, so I recorded it in 50fps, so I was able to slow down the flow by a quarter of the time. In this way I reached around 5 minutes. On the right side there is the timeline with the progressbar, which I created with colour tiles from a board game. I photographed all the 60 tiles in a stop motion way, so each tile is a separate picture. Then I combined them in an image sequence with 1 second each tile. Inside the progressbar there is the timer with numbers from my previous video, also photographed individually. After that I added the numbers in Kdenlive to create the timer. The background of the numbers are colored green (RGB: 0,255,0), so in this way I can modify the colour at will. I matched the colour to the colour of the tiles as the bar counts down. I have recorded everything myself with my camera and phones. After I edited it in Kdenlive and Gimp.

which is called it "Nebula".
I wanted to compose such motives in the track which follows the silent flowing of the liquid. The dramatic built up of the song perfectly fits to the timer runnig down. Hope you enjoy. 😊
