Being one of the most fascinating trek in nepal* The trel can be easily done in four to five days from Pokhra.
First receive permit for mardi himal base camp trek and muktinath tour from ACAP office . permit cost is 1000npr per head.
Then take a taxi or bus towards Kande then start your trek from Kande. or stay pokhra at night and next day early in the morning start your trek.
on 2 nd day of trek start early in the morning from ptam deurali then via lovely hill view point reach forest camp and then forest camp finally reach low camp. the distance is around 10 to 12 kms time needs 6-8 hours. from low camp the mardi himal mountain and machhpuchhre mountain or mount fish tail view just awesome . night stay at lali gurans guest house at low camp.
on 3rd day start your trek after breakfast from low camp laligurans hotel and restaurant towards high camp at 8am. After 45 minutes to 1hour you will reach at Badal danda . The whole route is upwards from dense jungle of famous Rhododendron trees. The scenic beauty is just awesome. From badal danda to high camp is about 3 - 4 hours trek. The route is along ridge of mountains. The view of Annapurna range with mount fishtail, mardi himal, himchulli, etc just amazed you.
Though there are many hotel and guest houses at low and high camp both places but in high camp the location and ambience of hotel mardi is just wonderful. stay tonight at hotel.
On 4th day we start our trek towards mardi himal base camp at 4am from high camp hotel. At 6am we reach at mardi view point and seeing sunrise there. The view of Mardi himal, Mount fishtail, Mount annapurna in the first sunlight are mesmerizing . After some time we trek back to High camp as the sky are very cloudy there we are unable to go towards base camp. After lunch we again start trek towards low camp and finally at 6pm we reach at low camp hotel laligurans. Next day after breakfast we trek towards siddhing village. Its really a very nice jungle trek. At 1pm we reach at siddhing and then by shared jeep we reach Pokhra at 4;30pm.
