We are so proud to bring you a new series with Team Halo, a @unitednations initiative that is helping COVID researchers communicate their work at the frontlines of the pandemic! Dr. Shira Weingarten-Gabbay is a scientist in the Sabeti Lab at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and studies how our immune systems' T cells recognize COVID infection. Her work has fundamentally enhanced our knowledge of this process and opened the door for new vaccines, not only for COVID but for many other devastating diseases. We are so excited to share her research with you!
