Over time you silencer / muffler can blow out the packing and get louder.
Or as in my case the cheap aftermarket unit didn’t have much packing inside anyway.
So he’s a little video guide on how to replace the packing. I purchased a roll of ceramic fibre packing - it cost the equivalent of a couple of pounds / dollars here in Thailand.
Its all very easy and has reduced the higher frequency sounds - much better.
