Hello, everyone! Today, I'll take you on a walk through Dongjiaominxiang in Beijing's Dongcheng District, a street that carries over a century of history and blends Chinese and Western cultures.

This 1.5-kilometer-long street was once an official road during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, linking the imperial city with the outer city. After 1900, it became Beijing’s embassy district, housing diplomatic missions from Britain, France, Germany, Russia, and more. This transformation left behind a collection of European-style buildings, which still stand today.

As you stroll down Dongjiaominxiang, you'll pass by historic landmarks like the former French Post Office and St. Michael's Church, each telling stories of past prosperity and change. The street is lined with plane trees, casting dappled shadows, making it a peaceful escape within the city. Whether you're a history enthusiast or just looking for a quiet, picturesque walk, this area offers a unique glimpse into Beijing’s layered past.

漫步於北京東城區的東交民巷，彷彿穿越百年歷史，感受中西文化的交融。這條全長約1.5公里的街道，曾是明清時期的官道，連接皇城與外城。 1900年後，東交民巷被闢為使館區，匯集了英、法、德、俄等多國使館，因而呈現出獨特的西洋建築風貌。

如今，漫步在東交民巷，兩側保存完好的歐式建築，如法國郵政局舊址、聖彌厄爾教堂等，靜靜訴說著昔日的繁華與滄桑。街道兩旁的梧桐樹下，偶有行人漫步，感受這份歷史的厚重與現代生活的交織。在這裡，您既能領略到北京深厚的歷史底蘊，也能感受到城市生活的寧靜與美麗。
