Using juxtaposition is a great way to add dimension, interest, and personality to any look. Here’s an easy two step method to create juxtaposition.

Step 1: Identify a style aesthetic that you love and feels like you. Examples of style aesthetics are feminine, classic, minimalistic, maximalist, tomboy, edgy, sexy, gothic, hipster, etc ect.

Step 2: Think about the opposite aesthetic and pull that into the look. Start small with things like shoes, handbags, pops of color, belts, jewelry, etc, etc.
