I created an original Arroyo Colorado ZONE SYSTEM for the River. We look at the Arroyo Colorado from Rio Hondo up to the Port of Harlingen. No fish were harmed in the making of this video! If you ever wanted details on fly fishing on the Arroyo Colorado, this is Zone 1 as I call it. That is so I can break it down into simple and manageable parts for fly fishers who are not used to the Arroyo Colorado, its fish and/ or its habitat.

I have some maps in the video and there is even one certifiable "Honey Hole" that is actually down in (what I call) Zone 2.
There may be another episode on Zone 1 in the can. I just have to see what's there.
