We visited Team Visma | Lease a Bike to film an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how team mechanic Ritte Van Der Perren builds Sepp Kuss’ race bike from the ground up.
This video shows the complete WorldTour bike build process of the Cervélo R5, including detailed component weights, pro mechanic insights, and the final UCI-legal race weight.
⚠️ Important:
To comply with the UCI minimum weight limit of 6.8 kg, the bike was fitted with 180 grams of additional ballast weight. Without this extra weight, the bike would be under the UCI limit.
