This year we participated at Anime Wonder in St. Paul, at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds. This was a new event to the Minnesota and we thought we add this one to our portfolio as we try to move to indoor shows that are more inline with our crowd. The unpredictable weather up here won’t keep us away from all outdoor events but it’s one of the reasons we are open to trying new places with air conditioning and more wind proofing. This event was held in the education building on the State Fair Grounds and it had a scheduled packed with learning traditional Japanese dancing the the Sansei Yonsei Kai Japanese Group, different group meet-ups, panels, voice actors from Naruto and Dragonballz, Starfait Idol Group, and DJ Dox. Thank you Starry for being the MC all weekend! As predicted this wasn’t a high profit event, as it was a new event but we did manage to get our table space back with some profit. Keep in mind this was the first time we tried a 10x20 space for our miniatures and 3D pieces. We did sell some larger pieces thanks to all those who stopped by to see us. This was entertaining and there was a small line on Saturday. We will keep this one in mind but for next year as a filler but we may want to wait to see if it continues to grow.
