The Heinkel 59 saw service from the first moves in Spain through to the end of the war. She was a torpedo bomber, patrol bomber, patrol recon platform, air-sea rescue aircraft, gunnery spotter, shore recon, and was even involved in ferrying commandos, aerial resupply, anti-submarine duties, minelaying, and coastal suppression. She served in the Atlantic, the Bay of Biscay, the Channel, the North Sea, the Black Sea, the Baltic... She served everywhere!
