Yoko Ono gets thousands ringing 'bells for peace' in Manchester

Manchester International Festival has opened with a loud chorus of ringing bells as part of the Yoko Ono project Bells for Peace. At a Manchester's Cathedral Gardens, a stone's throw from the site of the 2017 Manchester suicide bombing, attendees were encouraged by Ono to create 'an incredible vibration' that 'might just change the world'.
