Classic Seven Up Pound Cake. Made from scratch. Best, easy cake ever!
Ingredients
3 sticks butter, softened
3 cups sugar
2 Tbsp lemon extract
5 eggs
3 cups cake flour
¾ cup 7-up soda
Directions
Combine softened butter and sugar until soft
Add lemon extract, combine
Add egg, one at a time. Fully incorporate each egg before adding the next one.
Alternate adding cake flour and 7-up (1/3 at a time), until all added.
Mix cake for approx. 2 – 3 minutes.
Pour into Bundt cake pan, sprayed or coated with shortening & flour
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes
