A RTC trip to Java to see the last steam operated Sugar Mill Railways on 9 to 19-07-2005.
Featured in Part 11 is
Semboro Sugar Mill 700mm gauge, Semboro still had field lines but steam at Semboro started to decline in the early 90's and finished around 2000 but two locos were available to charter and the fireless locos continued to operate until 2019. Other locos were stored in various states in the shed.
We chartered the two locos but as you will see only got to travel behind one.
