Hi! Today I'm gonna show you how I made this simple and easy crochet bucket hat that is perfect for beginners!

Materials used:
Approx. 70-80g of 4 ply Indophil yarn (double pull) or any DK yarn weight
4.00 mm hook
Stitch marker
Needle
Tape measure
Scissors

CROCHET BUCKET HAT PATTERN:
(Top)
Ch 4, sl st on 1st st
R1: Ch 1, 8 Hdc

*or do a magic ring and make 8 Hdc

R2: 2 Hdc in every st
R3: 1 Hdc, 1 inc (2 Hdc in 1 st) repeat ** until you reach the stitch marker
R4: 2 Hdc, 1 inc repeat ** until you reach the stitch marker
R5: 3 Hdc, 1 inc repeat ** until you reach the stitch marker
R6: 4 Hdc, 1 inc repeat ** until you reach the stitch marker
R7: 5 Hdc, 1 inc repeat ** until you reach the stitch marker
R8: 6 Hdc, 1 inc repeat ** until you reach the stitch marker
R9: 7 Hdc, 1 inc repeat ** until you reach the stitch marker
R10: 8 Hdc, 1 inc repeat ** until you reach the stitch marker
R11: 9 Hdc, 1 inc repeat ** until you reach the stitch marker

*add or subtract rows depending on your head size.
*my head circumference is 22 inches and my measurement is 6.25 to 6.5 inches.
*smaller head: 5.5 to 6.25 inches
*bigger head: 6.5 to 7 inches

(Body)
R12: BLO Hdc in every st
R13-22: Hdc in every st

*you can adjust the height by adding more rows

(Brim)
R23: 4 FLO Hdc, 1 FLO inc repeat ** until you reach the stitch marker
R24: 6 Hdc, 1 inc repeat ** until you reach the stitch marker
R25-26: Hdc in every st
R27: 8 Hdc, 1 inc repeat ** until you reach the stitch marker
R28-29 Hdc in every st

*you can adjust the length of the brim by adding more rows of normal Hdc and rows with increases, just make sure to end on a normal Hdc to prevent the brim from ruffling.

Fasten off and secure the yarn.
