प्रयागराज के माघ मेले में स्वामी अविमुक्तेश्वरानंद और प्रशासन के बीच विवाद बढ़ता जा रहा है। मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने इस मामले में किसी का नाम लिए बिना कहा कि एक योगी या संत के लिए धर्म और राष्ट्र से बड़ा कुछ नहीं होता। उन्होंने साफ किया कि संत की व्यक्तिगत प्रॉपर्टी नहीं होती, धर्म ही उसकी असली प्रॉपर्टी और राष्ट्र उसका स्वाभिमान होता है। सीएम योगी ने आगे चेतावनी दी कि धर्म की आड़ में सनातन धर्म को कमजोर करने की साजिश करने वाले कालनेमि तत्वों से सतर्क रहना होगा। इस बयान ने प्रयागराज विवाद में राजनीतिक और धार्मिक सियासत को और तेज कर दिया है।
