Recently multi-instrumentalist Jake Meadows unleashed his debut single ‘Echo of Tomorrow’ featuring Daniel Johns, “an electronically infused, rhythmically forceful, ethereally emotive arrangement’ (The Music).
His first offering comes part of a collection of songs with honoured collaborator Daniel Johns. ‘Echo of Tomorrow’ is a haunting and foreboding track, where Meadows’ inherent harp playing creates a new aura that is honest and exudes a sense of bittersweet grace. Today, he brings forth with a new music video that is both timeless whilst being unmistakably modernistic.
Directed by Stef Puska, Meadows ventures into the expanse of the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, where the wilderness and deep blue hues of his surroundings compliment the cinematic nature of the song. When speaking about the video, Meadows says “I intended the outcome of the clip to be a journey from dark to light, proposing there is a darker underlying reason we are here but we reflect finding relief and acceptance in moving forward.” ‘Echo Of Tomorrow’ featuring Daniel Johns is available digitally.
