Jackfruit(pelakai) gatti is one of the traditional Kasargod-Mangalore-Udupi recipe prepared with ripe jackfruit, rice, coconut and jaggery.. This recipe makes with leaves(banana, uppalige leaves), if you don't have leaves, please use idli stand or simple lunch plate to steam them. Usually we make this as tea time snacks and leftover will eat as breakfast in next day..
