Queen To Debut Unreleased Freddie Mercury Song. Singer. Celebrity life

A song performed by Freddie Mercury and recorded during The Miracle, which was released in May 1989, has been discovered in the archives by members of Queen and has already announced that it will release a track no one has heard before, drummer Roger Taylor told BBC Radio 2's Zoe Ball.

About 30 tracks were recorded during the album's production in the late '80s, many of which never made it onto the record in the end.

"We found a little pearl from Freddie that we forgot about. And it was wonderful. It was a real discovery. It's from The Miracle sessions, and I think the track will be released in September," Taylor said.

According to Queen guitarist Brian May, the song was " hidden in plain sight."

"We looked at it many times and thought, 'Oh no, we can't save it.' But actually, we got in there again, and our wonderful engineering team said: "Okay, we can do this and this." It's like stitching the pieces together... It's beautiful. It's touching! It's a very passionate song."

Freddie Mercury passed in November 1991. After his passing, the band continued to exist, with Paul Rodgers and then Adam Lambert as its vocalists. The latter performed with the band at Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee celebration. They took the stage, opening the show with a mix of classic hits.
