This is the first 'shakedown' video about my recently build Mini Cooper S R53 for trackday use. The engine is brand new build so has to be carefully driven. Besides that the Meppen (Germany) track is new to me as is the car. :-). These sessions were just to see how the car handles. Many little tweaks and adjustments still have to be made but I'm satisfied with the results for now.
The Astratec and PI Research laptimers (built into the car) were not working as this was a trackday so the track beacon system was switched off. The RaceRender overlay is GPS based so not really accurate. This is #1 on the todo list before upcoming sessions.
