She Always Finds Me

I wrote this song about an amazing girl I met in Tennessee about 20 years ago. I met This girl in a bar. I was teaching a class at Dads in Nashville Tennessee, I went to the bar downstairs and saw this girl with blond hair and a contagious smile. She caught my eye and I asked to buy her a drink. I never do this ever. But I had to talk to her. I asked her if she would allow me to buy her a drink. I proceeded to talk to her the whole night. We met for lunch the next day and for almost 4 years I would see her every weekend. I traveled during the week, we spent many weekends together, almost every weekend. I fell in love with this girl. Then my company got bought out by another and I was afraid I would not have a job. I saw her the night I left, and I had wished I did not have to go. She was an amazing person and I just hated leaving. I regretted it for years. Then Years later Life went on I got married. Then My mother was dying, My wife was mean and It wasn't meant to be. But as my mother was dying and my ex wasn't supportive, I got a call while I was in the parking lot of the hospital, It was her, and she said all the right things at the right time to ease my soul. Then I didn't hear from her again. A few years had passed and we may have spoken once in between. Then I met another and had a relationship for 6 years. Then They left me, And I was was in a bad place, Again out of nowhere this angel called and said all the right things at all the right time. That angel was the inspiration. We have been speaking a bit since then, And she has been a light in the darkness Once again. SHE ALWAYS FINDS ME!
