Kangana Ranaut, Amitabh Bachchan & Others Receive National Awards

Kangana Ranaut and Amitabh Bachchan have received National Awards for their films Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Piku respectively. The awards were announced on March 28. Kangana Ranaut, 28, won the award for her role in the romantic comedy-drama “Tanu Weds Manu Returns” for her endearing dual turn as Tanu, a troublesome wife and Haryanvi sportsperson Datto. This is the third trophy for Kangana at the National Awards, having won Best Actress for ‘Queen’ last year and earlier for best-supporting actress for 2008 film “Fashion”.
