Having fitted both sides of LMS style valve gear to the Standard 4 tank I decided to have a go at doing the Standard 2 2-6-0 and converting the Stanier tank which has had Gresley valve gear since making it to have the correct style valve gear.
The Stanier was fairly easy with only the cylinders to modify.
The standard 2 took a lot of work shortening the connecting rod modifying cylinders and chassis and also the original Gresley motion braket.
