Cottonbalers Enhance Warfighting Capabilities | 3rd Infantry Division (2025)

U.S. Army Soldiers with the 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment — known as the Cottonbalers — from the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, conduct a Simulated Training Exercise (STX) at Fort Stewart, Georgia, March 1–5, 2024.

These intense platoon-level drills test every Soldier’s readiness, leadership, and teamwork under combat conditions — from urban movements to field tactics. The training sharpens the Cottonbalers’ warfighting edge, improving their ability to fight, win, and sustain operations anywhere around the world.
