Hurricane MILTON was a category 3 hurricane that made landfall near Siesta Key, FL on October 9th, 2024 with maximum sustained winds of 115 mph and a minimum central pressure of 958 millibars.
Landfall location is 93 miles NW of the film location, and direct impacts were not felt, although Golden Gate did experience gusts up to around 50 knots during the overnight hours.
Effects at my location:
Peak winds are estimated to have occurred after 10 PM, out of the west at near 40 mph (35kt), with the peak gust estimated to have been in the 55-60mph (48-52kt) range at my location.
Rainfall totaled 5.2'' over four days (10/6 to 10/10).
Minimum barometric pressure was 995.5mb, which occurred around 6 PM.

45mph (39kt) G 59mph (51kt) @ Collier EOC (6mi S of my location)
G 66mph (57kt) 11mi NNW of my location
33mph (29kt) G 58mph (50kt) 5mi SW of my location (4:53 PM, after which station stopped reporting, these were not the peak winds at this location)
G 56mph (49kt) 6mi WSW of my location
Damage after the storm was very light and constrained to light tree damage and downed fences, partly because of Hurricane Helene's more severe effects in the area downing some of the weaker trees that would have otherwise been downed by Milton.
