New ride for Older 2010 Kawasaki Teryx 750 Le

I just picked up a Kawasaki Teryx 750Le 2010. This is the first ride out on off roads. Old was not able to make it with us. So it's just Oldest and older. The Teryx has a good engine and frame, Just needs some cosmetic work. replace screws, plastic rivets. then add things to make it mine.
I was reading some downsides to th Teryx as in Kawasaki puts a speed control on the top speed. Top speed is set at 50MPH. I don't know about everyone else but 50 MPH sounds good. I know I had my Kawasaki Prairie up to 65mph. And all 60 years past before my eyes. One other thing about the Teryx is the sound and heat from the engine. I put sound insulation around the engine housing and it seems to help. It looks like someone wrapped the exhaust pipe and muffler in some type of material to help with the heat.
